Shape the Future: Join our Budget Committee
We are looking for Members to join our Budget Committee to guide how our funds are invested. OCEOTA is seeking one (1) member to be part of the annual Budget Committee. There is a commitment of 2 half days for which the member will be paid. The first half-day is February 11th, 2026. Interested members please send an email to our Office Admin at officeadmin@oceota.com titled Budget Committee Member. Please send requests by Friday, January 23rd, 2026.
ETFO Annual Meeting Resolutions
Each August, ETFO holds the Provincial Annual Meeting for 4 days in Toronto to vote on Resolutions for the organization. Resolutions are a mechanism for members to influence organizational policy and general direction. Resolutions are submitted by Locals, such as OCEOTA, after being approved at a Local’s General Meeting. For OCEOTA, that meeting occurs on February 9th 2026 this year. If you have a resolution you would like our Local to consider at the meeting, please send it to 1stvpres@oceota.com, before January 30th 2026.
