The Annual Labour Day March and Picnic was held on Monday, September 1st. 2025. The theme this year was “Workers Together: Unions Deliver”.
OCEOTA President Jamieson Dyer, was joined by Exec. Member at Large Kate Seip, and Members Jiwon Bae and Rachel Andrusek, who walked in solidarity to celebrate the contributions of workers past and present. Carrying flags and wearing union shirts showing commitment for public education unions. After the march there was a fun filled BBQ with live music provided in part courtesy of the Musicians Union Local 180. Thank you to all who participated in the event.
