The Daily Rate of Pay for 2024-25 is $271.59 (plus approx. 4% vacation pay) paid two weeks in arrears to Daily OTs.
LTOs are paid two weeks in arrears for days worked on the basis of 1 day=1/194 of their grid rate (send in your QECO and Experience letters or it’s defaulted to Level A1 yr 1!). Unlike contract teachers, our pay is NOT PRO-RATED over a 12 month period. LTOs are not paid for any days other than instructional or PD days. When there are holidays, an LTO will not be paid for those days; ie 2 week period which includes Thanksgiving Monday, there will only be 9 days pay on your pay stub, not 10.
