On October 21st, 2026 OCEOTA held their General Meeting. Throughout this meeting, Member approved the minutes from the May 20th, 2026 Annual General Meeting, the 2026-2027 Budget, celebrated our members who received their 5 year pin and 10 year pin for their years of service. We were also joined by Shirley Bell, ETFO Provincial’s 1st Vice President and she spoke to the membership about Central Collective Bargaining. Central Strike action was discussed and it was announced that OCEOTA will also be hosting a Local Strike action as well. President Dyer and Shirley had an interactive Question and Answer period where Members were able to share their questions both locally and centrally as well as share issues affecting the membership.

Door Prizes – OCEOTA members won many prizes.
Prizes included a $50 cheque, a car jump kit courtesy of OTIP, Rugby tickets to the Canada vs England game and OCEOTA newly branded baseball hats. Congratulations to our Winners – Charlotte, Cathy, Del and Charlie!
The Member Engagement award is a $500.00 cheque awarded to a member annually who attends three (3) or more events throughout the year. Congratulations to our winner David!
