If you haven’t already done so, you should request that QECO provide you with a Statement of Evaluation and provide it to the Board ASAP. The OCDSB will only retroactively apply the higher rate of pay to work back to the previous start of term ie January or September. Work previous to that will not be paid at the higher rate.
OTs must provide the Board with a copy of the QECO statement, otherwise the Board will pay you at A1 category indefinitely.
Each OT who wishes to move up the grid is dealt with uniquely and will need to contact QECO directly for information regarding obtaining credits.
