Educator Survey: Supporting Transgender and Gender Diverse Students in Schools
Researchers at Western University have launched a study to improve their understanding about trans-affirmative policies and practices in schools. The researchers are interested in learning more about the policies and trans-affirmative approaches in schools and about how schools and teachers are addressing transgender and gender equality in education.
This is part of a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) funded study encompassing elementary and secondary schools in Ontario, California and Western Australia.
