OCETFO PD Day Friday, April 12

OCEOTA members have once again been invited to attend the OCETFO PD Day at the Shaw Centre. Please see the information below regarding who should attend and below that, details of the day.

LTOs are paid their LTO grid rate for the day. This is not a holiday. The expectation is that you attend PD of your choice for the same amount of time as the percentage of your LTO. You may attend some other PD  opportunity on that day, if you have found one.

Daily OTs

Daily OTs get the day off without pay, just like any other PD Day. However, daily OTs are welcome to attend the Federation Day at the Shaw Centre, on a voluntary basis.(no pay).

Some daily OTs have registered for BMS training. Those members will be paid daily rate by the Bd, if they have not already been paid for their one paid Bd PD day this year. Registration for BMS on Fri is closed and there is a waiting list.

Everyone attending the Federation PD Day is invited to stop by the OCEOTA booth, in the publishers display. Fill out a ticket and enter our draw for fabulous prizes. Pick up a red T shirt while supplies last and talk to me or to Vice president Pat Dixon or other exec members who may be at our booth.
